Gratitude - A Weapon Against Mental Illness

Gratitude is one of the strongest anti-depressants around. I make sure to stop daily and reflect on the people and things that I am grateful for in my life. In my depression, I am literally blinded from the good and robbed of the ability to feel gratitude...or anything. That's why in the good times it is especially important to reinforce what it is beautiful about life. "We're not lucky but we're fortunate, I'm pretty sure of it." - Atmostphere
