looking up in the face of mental illness

Bipolar II keeps you living on the edge, literally and figuratively. Adding ADHD to the mix does not help either. I never quite know how up or down I am going to feel each day. With that in mind, even when I am pulled down into the abyss of depression it is important to keep looking up. While in the abyss it is much easier said than done and definitely takes the help, love and support of a great friend or two.
